Am a Data scientist acquainted with skills in using data analytics tool kits as well as designing data collection tools.
I design data collection workflow in survey CTO or Kobo Tool Box by creating custom-made data collection forms either by using Graphical User Interface(GUI) or hard-coding with Microsoft Excel.
Experienced in using data tool kits (i.e R software, STATA, Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets applications) to Import, Munging/ Wrangle, Analyse and Visualize to generate inferences about the data, after which I create dashboards in Google-Sheets or Data-Studio. Acquainted with advanced skill set in coding and deploying machine learning models in R software, interpreting the results as well as adjusting the models to give best accuracy without either under or over fitting the model.
Am a skilled trainer in use of analytics toolkits for individual or a group of clients.Have participated in training Technical University of Mombasa undergraduate class on data best practises in STATA, with Pwani University training coming up soon, also in process of setting up R sessions with SwahiliPot in Mombasa.
Currently I work in Komaza, a forestry company in the Business Intelligence Department as a Data Analyst involved in the whole chain of collection and processing data.
